Provender New Zealand is proud to support Special Olympics, an organisation which has helped athletes with an intellectual disability to achieve their sporting dreams since 1983.
We enjoy being part of such a valuable New Zealand cause. As proud sponsors since 1999, Provender has contributed in excess of $400,000 to Special Olympics New Zealand. This has helped Special Olympics New Zealand achieve its objective of helping athletes to reach their life goals. Our support has helped more people with a disability to participate in sports training and competition on a regular basis.
Provender is delighted to continue supporting such a highly respected, globally accredited organisation which, with the assistance of sponsors and donations, is able to give an increased sense of self-worth and independence to those who strive to be accepted in their community.
Special Olympics New Zealand has over 6,200 athletes involved in 13 sports across New Zealand. Over 3,000 passionate volunteers assist with inspiring communities to support athletes with intellectual disabilities, by participating in quality sports programmes that bring about positive life-changing experiences.
