Terms & Conditions ~ Provender’s ‘Win a trip for 2 to Greece 2011’ promotion.

1) Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these Terms & Conditions. Any entry not complying with these Terms & Conditions is invalid. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
2) The period of the promotion commences 8am NZDST on 15/2/2011 and closes at 11:59pm NZDST on 30/4/2011 (inclusive). Entries may only be submitted during this promotion period.
3) Entry is open to all New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over who complete and submit a valid entry.
4) To enter, complete all the required entry form details and include any 3 wrappers, bottle caps or can tabs of product purchased from Provender snack boxes or vending machines. Put in an envelope with entry form, and leave in the snack box or vending machine delivery bin for collection by Provender service person. Alternatively post your entry to: Provender Greece Promotion, P.O. Box 11007, Ellerslie 1542, Auckland.
5) Multiple entries are permitted. Each entry must comply with all terms and conditions of the promotion. Only original entry forms are accepatable, no photocopies are permitted. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
6) Employees of Provender NZ Ltd and their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
7) The draw will take place at the Auckland office of Provender NZ Ltd. at 11:00am NZDST on 9/5/2011. The winner will be notified by phone with confirmation via mail and email. Their name will be published on the Provender website (www.provender.co.nz). 8) Provender NZ Ltd. may conduct a further draw at the same time and place as the original draw as necessary on 9/5/2011. 
9) The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10) There will be one (1) prize on offer to one (1) individual winner. The first valid entry drawn will win a trip for the winner and one (1) adult guest. The prize is for two (2) adults. The winner’s companion is to be selected at the discretion of the winner (provided that the winner’s companion is 18 years or over).
11) The prize includes the following:
i)Return economy class airfares from New Zealand to Athens, Greece for the winner and guest, sponsored by Emirates Airlines. Both persons must travel together on the same dates & routing, depart from and return to the same point of departure. Standard conditions apply.
(ii) (7) night’s hotel accommodation, based on double occupancy (room & taxes only). All food, beverages, taxes, and other incidental costs incurred by the guest are to be settled prior to departure from, and direct with, the individual hotel.The winner may be required to present a credit card at time of check in at accommodation. (iii) Entrance tickets for two to attend the opening ceremony of the Special Olympics World Summer Games on the 25th June 2011.
(iv) At the time of the draw, the prize will also include Euro’s 1,000 spending money (Including GST).
12) All components of the prize must be taken together. Flights are pre-booked to coincide with the opening ceremony of the Special Olympics World Summer Games and therefore cannot be altered. The prize is as stated above and not redeemable for cash and is non transferable.
13) Provender NZ Ltd. is not responsible for travel insurance for the winner and his/her guest.
14) Once issued, tickets cannot be extended, re-routed or reissued. No extension on the validity date of this prize will be permitted.  Once booked, any changes made may incur a cancellation fee or amendment fee at the cost of the winner.
15) All other costs including meals, beverages, tips, additional transfer fees, excess baggage, spending money, transport to and from departure/arrival points, taxes (unless otherwise specified), airport charges, insurances, passports, visas, gratuities, excess baggage costs, room service costs, optional excursions and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner and his/her guest.
16) The winner and his/her companion is responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports and proof of citizenship satisfactory to customs and immigration officials, and any requisite visas, vaccinations required and travel documentation.
17) The prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
18) Provender NZ Ltd. will arrange for prize delivery to the prizewinner.
19) If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Provender NZ Ltd., Provender NZ Ltd. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to (a) disqualify any entrant; and/or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
20) Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Provender NZ Ltd. (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (i) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Provender NZ Ltd.’s control); (ii) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (iii) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by Provender NZ Ltd.) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Provender NZ Ltd.; (iv) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (v) and/or taking of the prize.
21) In the event that a portion of the prize is awarded to the winner in the form of a voucher / ticket / pass, redemption of that portion of the prize will be subject to the terms and conditions stipulated on the voucher / ticket / pass. Provender NZ Ltd. will not be liable for any voucher / ticket / pass that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.
22) In the event of any unforeseen circumstances, as well as in the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster (including natural disaster), Provender NZ Ltd. reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.  Provender NZ Ltd. reserves the right to either provide an alternative travel prize (including an alternative destination as specified by Provender NZ Ltd.) to the same value as the original prize or, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
23) Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize by the time stipulated by Provender NZ Ltd., then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.
24) If the prize (or part thereof) is unavailable, Provender NZ Ltd., in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
25) Provender NZ Ltd. is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
26) Provender NZ Ltd. reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and entrants, and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions. Failure by Provender NZ Ltd. to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
27) Provender NZ Ltd. collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this information.  Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to Provender NZ Ltd. All entries become the property of Provender NZ Ltd.
28) Entrants consent to Provender NZ Ltd. using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome).
